What is allowed in the bin?

Allowable Waste

Uncontaminated soil( soil by arrangement ), rocks, concrete, bricks and roofing tiles Building materials such as plaster, timber, glass, metal, furniture, electrical goods and white goods, garden waste, Scrap metal and more… The list is endless..

How do I know what size bin I will need?

Check the guide on the skip sizes page, look at the photo to estimate if your waste will fit the size selected. Need some help?  Just call and ask

our friendly staff who will provide a general estimate from the details given by you over the phone.

How long can I keep the bin?

All skip bins are contracted or hired out on a strict seven day hire, although we can supply bins for extended time (additional charges apply). Call us for prices.

How much can I load into a bin?

Skip bins can be filled to the top or rim ONLY. It is unsafe for us to transport overfilled bins.All bins that are overloaded above the rims of the bins will be off-loaded back to the safety rim or in some cases left on premises for the customer to off-load

Can you collect the skip bin earlier if we have filled it sooner than anticipated?

We can collect the skip bin sooner if required. Call us and we can tailor our service to suit your needs

What can go in the skip bin?

So long as you avoid the “What is not permitted in the bin” items, the list is endless, but here are a few examples. General Waste, Most household clean up waste, cardboard, clothes, books, toys, old furniture, carpet, white goods, boxes etc.

Green Waste

Garden prunings, grass clippings, bark, palm leaves etc….( excludes large trunks/stumps and palms)

Solid Waste

Bricks/concrete/ sand and soil (soil and sand by arrangement )

Renovation Waste Home renovation or building waste remember (asbestos, fibro etc by arrangement)

Can the Bins be moved ?

Bins are not to be moved from the delivery position and access must be maintained to allow safe collection of Bin.The Hirer is responsible for any costs to get the Skip Bin to a position that we can recover the bin with our truck

Advise of any special circumstances

Such as requiring the bin to be collected before the seven (7) day rental period expires. Specific location of bin placement on the property if no one is to be home

Extra Charge Items

Mattresses (all sizes), engine oils and tyres, synthetic grass,ceramic tiles, large trunks/stumps and palms. These items by arrangement only

Unacceptable Waste

Asbestos or materials containing asbestos such as A/C sheet and A/C pipes (A/C translates to Asbestos Cement), All Asbestos products by arrangement only.

Contaminated and/or hazardous waste.

Putrescible waste such as food, garbage etc. Liquids or chemicals (paints, oils, gas bottles), medical waste.

Wet concrete cannot be poured into bins becoming mixed amongst general waste (it makes waste unrecyclable – additional charges apply where concrete cannot be recycled). Please ensure all concrete is dry before placing into bins.
